Looking for community members to join the Wage Theft Campaign Committee!
In following with the successful efforts of worker centers in other states, we will begin forming a wage theft committee. The primary responsibilities of committee members are to participate in the shaping of wage theft legislation, lobby members of the city council, and engage in outreach to gain community support.
We are looking for a diverse cross section of community members to participate, including: lawyers, business owners, faith leaders, professors and researchers, and students, non-profit organizations, and a diverse set of workers who have experienced wage theft.
